Treatment begins

Getting ready to see Dr Sood
we will have the same hairstyle in a few weeks, the exact opposite of our big hair 80’s engagement pic

Saw this quote and thought how appropriate for Karen’s life.

“If every single person who has liked you in your lifetime, were to light up on a map, it would create the most glitteringly beautiful network you could imagine. Throw in the strangers you’ve been kind to, the people you’ve made laugh, or inspired along the way and that star-bright network of you would be an impressive sight to behold. You have done so much more than you realize. You’re trailing a bright pathway that you don’t even know about. What a thing. What a thing indeed.” Donna Ashworth

Update: We are at MD Anderson in Houston. Karen has a recurrence of Endometrial Cancer. Not liver cancer. It has advanced to Liver and lungs. Our consult with Dr Sood went well. Treatment begins November 30 over 18 weeks followed by maintenance treatment. Thank you Bob Knappe for your help getting us in to see Dr Sood. He is a world renowned doc and researcher and we are grateful. Thanks to all who have reached out to hug Karen, clean our house, bring food, pray, and lead the cheering section. We love and are grateful for our family and friends.
