Enjoying your memories of dear Limestone. Actually, the school was built of sandstone not limestone. Limestone is a grayish white stone. I attended Limestone from September, 1952 to May, 1959

  Karen, thanks for the comment. You are correct. The building stone is sandstone. The playground was filled with limestone and a large array of fossil stones which we loved searching out like Indiana Jones caressing a mysterious treasure. I sure you have some great stories also from another era of the school I know little about!
